Did you know that RONALD MCDONALD HOUSE gets no government funding at all? ? can you help? ?
When a child is diagnosed with a serious illness?, it impacts the whole family. Lives can be turned upside down?. That’s why RMHC provide a range of programs to help families stay together and close to the care they need.?
Keeping the family together can be extremely tough ???????????without support, which is why they offer accommodation for parents with sick kids who need to travel to the John Hunter Children's Hospital ?for treatment.
They try to accommodate the needs of families where they can, but this is always subject to availability. Priority is given to families whose children have been recently diagnosed, have a serious or life threatening illness, are seriously injured or who require emergency treatment, as well as families of premature babies ?
Our Newcastle RM House gives seriously ill children the best gift of all – their families. Our warm and supportive home-away-from-home provides the whole family with a comfortable place to stay and peace of mind, knowing they can stay together and close to their child at John Hunter Children’s Hospital.
Over 600 families a year stay with us here in Newcastle. Our comfortable family bedrooms and self-contained units provide a homely experience to families when they need it most, while our common areas allow for shared journeys and unwavering support.
Without generous contributions, they would be unable to keep their doors open to families in need 365 days a year. Thanks to the public, they have been able to continually expand their operations to help more families and communities across Newcastle.
So on this night we will give to help.

Dress in a Onsie costume of choice and support RONALD MCDONALD HOUSE with a $10 donation per rider. Or come dressed in your leathers?. Either way they still need our support.
NOTE: All monies will be given directly to the McDonalds staff and management on the night with a bucket drive in the car park.

FROM Hexham MCDonalds turn right at lights
Turn right onto City bypass Jesmond
Left onto Newcastle road
Left onto Stewart Avenue
Right onto Honeysuckle drive
Stop at Harrys cafe de wheels
There will be a bucket at Harry’s cafe to donate into ( with maccas staff) for those who cannot get to Hexham Mcdonalds before the ride ??
