MAX BMW Motorcycles is excited to partner with Lime Rock Park for a Track Day September 18th. Open to all BMW Motorcycles. This is a BMW ONLY Event. Beginner, Intermediate, and Advanced Groups.

MAX BMW open track time is a way for you to fine-tune your track skills or experience one for the first time. Staff will be on hand to answer questions and do lead/follow for beginners.

ADVANCED GROUP (LIMITED TO 18): For advanced riders or racers who have done many track days/competitive events. Open passing and high speeds.

INTERMEDIATE GROUP (LIMITED TO 18): Passing on the front straight and back straight only. 4 laps lead/follow to start. Participants for this group should have completed multiple track days.

BEGINNER GROUP (LIMITED TO 18): Full-time lead follow. No passing except for front straight. For beginner track day riders who are new to a track environment or have only done a couple of track days. Very limited passing.

MUFFLED EVENT: This is a muffled event with a >88dBA limit - excessively loud bikes are not permitted.

The first session will start at 9:00. Groups will trade on an off-track for 20-minute sessions.

We will be on track until 1 pm. At 1 pm the Lime Rock Driver's Club will take over the track.

When registering, please select the group that best describes your track experience.

REQUIRMENTS:

If these requirements are not met, you will not be permitted to participate in this Track Day. All requirements must be addressed BEFORE the Track Day.

Suit - You need a full-coverage protective riding suit. The suit can be a one-piece suit or two-pieces that zip together.

Feet – You must have boots that cover your ankles

Hands – Look for hard material on the knuckles and fingers to protect you in falls where your hand grinds against the pavement. Choose gloves with a generous gauntlet and a strap that encircles the wrist

Head – Properly fitted helmet. Must be a M2015 rated helmet.

Insurance- Must present a valid medical insurance card
