OSDRI is proud to honor longtime volunteer Tom Poole on the 5th Anniversary of his passing with the announcement that Tom’s Run will be held September 26 at the Smithfield Elks. Tickets are $25.00. Proceeds will benefit the 8 year old daughter of recently deceased U.S. Marine Andrea Ryder. This past July at the age of 35, Andrea succumbed to an 8 year battle with cancer. Andrea was first diagnosed with cancer while pregnant and selflessly delayed treatment in order to give birth. Her cancer was later deemed service connected to her deployments in Iraq and Afghanistan.

Due to Covid-19 restrictions tickets must be purchased in advance and a reservation made. Tickets previously purchased for OSDRI postponed 2020 steak fry will be honored for the dinner following Tom’s Run. To buy a ticket and confirm attendance call Sherry Elderkin 401-261-9468.
