Former rocker reunited with his beloved motorcycle after 50 years. In 1959 Paul Hayes of Oxfordshire in the UK bought his AJS Model 31. He really enjoyed his life of the rider, hanging around cafes, spending time riding, listening to rock music and going to picture houses. Unfortunately, Paul had to sell the bike. His future mother-in-law was categorically against riding in the family, so in 1969 the bike was sold, and Paul lost his passion. Over the years, the AJS travelled from owner to owner and now it’s back in Paul’s life.
“When I retired I thought ‘I wonder whatever happened to my AJS. I really loved that bike”, - said Paul. – “I never wanted to sell it. That motorbike is everything for me, just like my wife”.
