Thomas Petsch — a businessman from Würzburg, was an avid motorcyclist and a big fan of the brand Munch. In 1997 he was fortunate to become personally acquainted with his idol Friedel Münch . Together they developed a plan to build a new Munch Mammut. The result is a motorcycle Munch Mammut 2000 with a large 1998 CC 16-valve engine and a turbocharger. The power unit produces 260 HP at 5650 rpm and torque of 380 Nm at 3500 rpm Company "Münch Motorrad Technik GmbH" had planned to produce 250 motorcycles, max speeds over 250 km/h.Motorcycle Munch Mammut 2000 is planned to start supplying customers in 2000, but there were problems with the design and production, so deliveries began in 2001. In mid 2002 the project stopped, releasing a total of 15 bikes costing 86 000 Euro. Production costs were much greater than expected profits, so the project was closed. The photo shows the latest motorcycle Munch Mammut 2000 2001, the approximate price of 200 000 euros.
