Haojue, Suzuki‘s Chinese partner, has applied for a patent of a new Haojue HJ300 motorcycle. The Chinese produce the GW250, GSX-250R and V-Strom 250 for Suzuki, so the HJ300 may provide a preview of the upcoming model GSX-S300.
The patent drawings show a motorcycle with an engine that is very similar to the 248cc parallel-Twin powering the GSX-250R and V-Strom 250. The patent application was submitted to China’s State Intellectual Property Office. The patent states the design is for a motorcycle to be called the HJ300. It means the company makes it clear the motorcycle is a Haojue and not branded as a Suzuki.
Other details we can see include an inverted fork, ABS, an LCD display and a stacked headlight design.
