It’s hard to believe, but it’s been over 30 years since the premiere of the cult classic “Top Gun”, starring Tom Cruise. The famous actor rode a red and black Kawasaki GPZ900R. Photographer Paolo Sandolfini wasn’t even born when Top Gun came out,but he’s a fan for everything 80s. After owning a GPZ750, the bike he hated, Paolo bought the GPZ900R four years ago.
“I really wanted the Top Gun bike,” he said.
At the time, Kawasaki GPZ900R was really cool. With 115 hp from its liquid-cooled inline-four, it was able to reach the top speed of 248 km / h.
Paolo is based in Parma, near Milan in Italy.
