In those days, the BMW R80G / S was so popular that the Bavarians did not fail, releasing the new BMW R100GS. The larger motor and upgraded final drive have become big plusses, although its appearance is not so attractive.
Gadso Hautmans at “Karoo Bespoke Motorcycles” in Hamburg rebuilt his BMW R100GS Paris Dakar and tried to make it pretty. This project can hardly be named as a full-on custom job – it’s just a tasteful styling. The biggest change concerns the headlight. Gadso removed the archaic square headlight and built a new system with two small round lights and a Hella spot. The fairing wears turn signals, very tiny.
