Until recently, a special version of the DSR electric bike,designed, let's say, with an adventure-touring twist, was available only in Europe, but now it is known outside the Old World.Technically, the Black Forest Edition repeats the DSR model (70 hp and 152 Nm) and uses a Zero’s 14.4 kWh battery pack. The special edition adds three trunks, hand guards, headlight protector, and a set of Givi side and top cases, transforming the DSR into an adventure-ready ride.The top speed is 102mph.

Planning a long-range tour, you should remember about the power reserve.Range is a claimed 157 miles in the city, and 64 miles on the highway at a speed of88mph, plus the model offers a standard combined range of 112 miles. These numbers can be boosted with the Power Tank – to 195 miles, 110 miles and 172 miles respectively.
