The Italian electric motorcycle manufacturerhas updated the 2020 Ego electric bike. The official premiere is scheduled for the EICMA 2019, while Nico Rosberg unveiled the new bike in a track test video.
The original Energica Ego helped the Italian company make a name for itself and become famous all over the world. It was chosen as the basis for a racing motorcycle in the MotoE Championship, which kicked off this year.
The new model is better than its predecessor in all aspects: a large battery capacity, more power, faster charging, lighter weight. The 2019 model recharges up to 80% in 20 minutes if you use the device for fast charging. This is not enough so far to compete with real gasoline motorcycles, but technology is developing. Probably, the 2020 model will surprise everyone.
As the current model, the 2020 Energica Ego is fitted with fully-adjustable 43mm Marzocchi forks and Bitubo rear mono shock, double 330mm floating discs up front with 4-pot radial caliper brakes,a single rear 240mm disc with a 2-pot caliper out back (all Brembo), Bosch ABS.
