Additional Info:

The PFC Joseph P. Dwyer Veteran’s Peer to Peer project is a non-clinical program in Chautauqua County. PFC Dwyer returned home from Iraq with Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) and a traumatic brain injury. His life ended as a result of his choices in attempting to cope with these issues. Our program’s goal is to offer opportunities for veterans to meet and socialize with other vets enduring similar challenges, at no cost to them. Peer support has been proven to be extremely successful with options available to meet each veteran’s interest.

100% of the proceeds stay local to Chautauqua County and will be donated to local suicide prevention initiatives. Proceeds will be split with The Community Alliance for Suicide Prevention and other entities. The Alliance is dedicated to protecting and promoting life by fostering shared responsibility through raising awareness and community supports while embracing hopefulness and resiliency in the Chautauqua region.

Sponsors are always welcome but will not be solicited.

Businesses or organizations interested in becoming a sponsor should contact Cindy Reidy at (716) 661-8447 or email ReidyC@co.chautauqua.ny.us
