The positive guy James May, a stylish man and "Captain Snail," made a resonance statement.
It’s always fun with former Top Gear presenters. From time to time they are shocking us, and Jeremy Clark has succeeded in this more than others – he is wit, famous for his bold and politically incorrect statements. James May looks like an angel in comparison with him, but this guy turns into a monster, if social problems really concern him. On the website Drivetribe the former TV presenter, who suffered from motorcycle thieves a few years ago, encourage simply ... to kill them. And it does not look like he's joking.
May believes, that the criminals act with complete impunity, and the response is seen as radical and not completely symmetrical: “Like any civilized person, I am vehemently opposed to capital punishment and any other form of state-sponsored murder. Justice should not take into account the human thirst for pure revenge. But it isn’t this case. I have arrived at this conclusion not through impotent fury, but by a pure process of logic. They have to be killed.”
According to James, law-abiding citizens should not take the law into their own hands, and he does not suggest doing this. The law prohibits the theft of motorcycles, but it’s not performed, and the police seem unwilling or in some way incapable to deal with it. Let’s remind, that a British motorcycle theft ‘epidemic’ goes on and on. It got so bad, that the Bristol thieves started an account in the Instagram and photographed with stolen bikes after hiding their faces. Since the last summer, they stole motorcycles worth over £500,000.
